Sign In/Sign UpThe IDeA National Resource for Quantitative Proteomics administers a reviewed, merit-based Voucher Program for NIH-funded investigators and other academic investigators from laboratories across the United States to access the National Resource for fully subsidized services. The goal of the voucher program is to provide pilot scale data to investigators that will create new hypotheses, support publications, and support on-going research studies within the mission of NIGMS. This voucher program is designed to support a 10-plex Tandem Mass Tag (TMT) or a 40-sample data independent acquisition (DIA) discovery proteomics experiment run on the Fusion or Exploris 480.
The IDeA National Resource for Quantitative Proteomics is seeking current undergraduate students from academic laboratories across the United States to apply for a summer internship. Selected students will work on a project relevant to human health led by faculty and scientists in the IDeA National Resource for Quantitative Proteomics located in the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The scope of the projects will focus on leveraging the core facilities state-of-the-art mass spectrometers to generate proteomic data from biologically relevant samples (tissue, plasma, cell lysate, etc.) and analyzing this data using bioinformatics. This internship is designed for students with a solid background in science who wish to know about translational research, scientific work in the laboratory that translates to direct patient care. This internship will provide experience in Proteomic and/or Bioinformatic Sciences and is designed to encourage pursuing a career in biomedical research.
The IDeA National Resource for Quantitative Proteomics is seeking current graduate students or post-doctoral researchers to apply for a short-term internship, which will provide exposure to daily operations and best business practices in a core facility. Applicants should have current, ongoing research that would benefit from an in-depth quantitative proteomics analysis and have interest in exploring a career in a proteomics core facility. Awardees will receive a voucher for one quantitative proteomics analysis that will be completed as part of the on-site internship.
